Hi there!
Thank you so much for stopping by our blog. Let me introduce ourselves...
I am Dana and he is Neo, a recently engaged couple who enjoy listening to Jason Mraz songs, cafe espressos from Starbucks and food.

He's Lao and I'm American. We came from different sides of the globe but somehow ended up together. Its almost scary how much we have in common (we're basically twins and pretty much inseparable except when he has to go back home).

He lives in Indiana and I'm in Ohio but we manage to spend most of our time together...even if its skype :)

He's the cook and I'm the baker, and I'm pretty sure our future children will be meatballs.

We like going out and exploring different restaurants and cuisines...Indian, Korean, Italian, Chinese, Vietnamese and occasionally American. We also love cooking at home (especially for lots of people) and have been known to make the food extra spicy.

Sometimes our cooking leads us to interesting experiments and we thought a blog about it would be a cool way to share recipes, thoughts, some of our favorite local restaurants and other cool stuff. Hope you enjoy our future posts and please stop back to see us soon!

ReplyDeleteps And now I have a craving for Thom Mak Hoong! But dinner is Khao Piek tonight ;)
Thank you so much! I have been meaning to update for a loooong time...we are always cooking and eating...we are still planning our wedding but yes I love the idea of a mixed wedding! This may sound weird but I'm pretty sure I follow you on Pinterest...loved the Lao wedding clothes for your rehearsal dinner :) khao piek is one of our favorites too!
DeleteNot weird at all! I'm a Pinterest fanatic which I'm sure you've noticed ha! Don't you just love Lao food!? I learned to cook from Fongsamut's mom, but we've recently moved & I miss her help! Wedding planning is so much fun! A little stressful, but the reward of a life together is the best thing in the world! Do you have the date set?
